Megan Elphick, Bear, Jam & Dora

Introduction

Megan’s photo shoot took place in mid March, just as spring was making an appearance. We started the day with a location scout around Megan’s yard. while doing so, we found some stunning settings for photos, including by a beautiful gate, on the daffodil lined driveway (which was a beautiful way to capture the beginning of spring) and along two hedge lines, one of which had an enchanting archway which I knew would create a lovely frame for the images.

Megan Elphick & Bear

We started Megan’s photo shoot with the lovely Bear. Images from this can be seen below.

Megan Elphick & Jam

After Bear’s photo shoot, Megan had a small outfit change, by switching the poncho for a magenta toned jacket, to give a different effect to the images taken with Jam (her second horse). While location scouting, I had noticed a beautiful pink blossom tree at the top of the driveway, which I knew would work perfectly with this outfit. As well as producing the images you can see below of Megan and Jam, I also created a video – which can be viewed here.

Megan Elphick & Dora

After Jam, Megan had another outfit change, to achieve the “going to the ball” style, by wearing a navy blue dress; this shoot was with her new youngster Dora. For this part of Megan’s photo shoot, we particularly focussed on the hedge, as Dora’s dapples worked beautifully with the textures in the hedge.
