I’ve been a tad behind with the Christmas posts so far... in fact posts in general, purely because I have been here, there and everywhere!
Last week I had a lovely trip to Harrogate with my mum, nana and auntie. We went to @harewoodhouse(the home of @downtonabbey_official where the indoor screens were filmed) which was absolutely beautiful and (as a photographer) I found the amount of effort and time that had gone in to animating the statues, paintings and beautiful light displays fascinating.
The following day, we went to the Brontë museum (admittedly not the jolliest Christmas trip) but truly makes you appreciate what we have now, compared to then, the things we take for granted such as clean water, not one of the Brontë sisters made it to 40 and two of them didn’t even reach 10!!
Anyway, on to slightly less morbid subjects, lunch at @bettys tea rooms in Ilkley was fantastic!! Tucking in to their Christmas menu was wonderful ☺️ The following day (Thursday) we went to the @countrylivinguk show in Harrogate, I will admit, I was a bit nervous all day as I knew the Equestrian Photography competition was being announced and I may have had some funny looks when I found out I won 😂
Friday was a day of admin work, lots of final Christmas plans coming together :) Yesterday I was in the Wyre Forrest, photographing @endurancegbinsta Festive Fun Ride (photos from there are all online and I’ll post a couple soon)
Today I have been out photographing Oswestry Riding Club’s Christmas Show, very glad to be indoors, as it has been rather windy today 🙈
Tomorrow I’m super excited to be doing a festive puppy photo shoot. Can’t say too much or show too much as it is part of a Christmas surprise present 🙈
Tuesday is senior Christmas dressage at Burlton Manor Equestrian. Message @becky_burltonmanoreq_king to get booked in for that 😃
